Subdural Electrodes

Subdural Electrodes

Epilepsy/LTM* subdural electrodes are for monitoring/mapping/stimulating the cortical surface for the surgical treatment of epilepsy.

SUBDURAL GRID ELECTRODES

Ad-Tech subdural grid electrodes have the following features:

  • Available in platinum or stainless steel
  • Numbered 4mm contacts
  • 10mm contact spacing
  • Color coded for identification
  • Sterile, single-use only

Subdural grid electrodes

Contoured

Contoured shape may provide more flexibility to conform to the cortical surface

High Density

Tighter spaced options may be available to allow for a dense recording area.

Various Tail Options

Single-tail construction to reduce the number of tails tunneled
90˚ perpendicular tail exit design from the center of the electrode that may allow for a smaller craniotomy

SUBDURAL STRIP ELECTRODES

Ad-Tech subdural strip electrodes have the following features:

  • Available in platinum or stainless steel
  • Non-numbered contacts with reinforcement fiber or available with numbered contacts without reinforcement fiber
  • 10mm contact spacing
  • 8mm width
  • Thin and flexible
  • Color coded for identification
  • Sterile, single-use only

Subdural strip electrodes

Narrow-Body

6mm width electrode ideal for burr hole placement

Various Shape Options

“L” and “T” shape offering different tail exit options

ADDITIONAL OPTION SUBDURAL ELECTRODES

Temporal Lobe

Right and left electrodes are designed for the temporal and subtemporal cortex

Interhemispheric Dual-Sided

Mirror-image contacts on both sides of electrode allowing for dual-sided recording

3D Style

6mm indented numbered platinum contacts ideal for intraoperative monitoring

Multi-Strip/Split-Grid

Multi channel electrodes allowing for varied coverage with construction to reduce the number of tails tunneled
